I’ve been playing Eve on and off for nearly three years now. I got pulled into the game by a bunch of miners and industrialists, who believe a fun time involves pointing lasers at rocks for a few hours and spamming music over Ventrilo.

I never got those (wasted) hours back, and I never quite managed to get into PvP properly, but I love this event so damn much it beggars belief.

Rumor has it that Hulkageddon VI isn’t going to happen, due to the recent buffs to mining shps, making them impractical to gank.

Please say it isn’t so!
